Sweep or vacuum the floor frequently to remove dirt before it can scratch or be ground into the floor's surface. Wipe up spills immediately. For spot cleaning, use hardwood floor cleaner made for use with a urethane finish and follow the manufacturers recommended cleaning procedures. Never apply wax or cleaning products that are not specifically made for use with urethane finished hardwood flooring.
